Germantown Road-Final Skirmish

On April 18, 1865 a detachment (18 troopers) of the 11th New York Cavalry from Germantown was ambushed by Confederate forces while on patrol about 6 miles from Germantown.  The overwhelmed patrol retreated back to Germantown.
